Benigno Mangovo (Cabinda, Angola, 1993) is a contemporary artist whose practice primarily explores painting. He immersed himself in art from a very young age, discovering painting and drawing as means of expression. Between 2017 and 2022, he refined his skills by studying Art at Mawete Atelier in Luanda.

His art reflects his personal experiences, exploring themes ranging from perception to spirituality, including memories, interpersonal relationships, and the connection between man and the places he inhabits. Mangovo uses painting as a medium to communicate his visions and interpretations of the world, creating works that invite reflection and contemplation.
